Product Overview
AIM designs and manufactures ‘State of the Art’ test & simulation modules, embedded interfaces, databus analyzer software and systems for advanced MIL-STD-1553, STANAG3910/EFEx, ARINC429, AFDX/ARINC664, Fibre Channel, PANAVIA Serial Link and MIL-STD-1760 applications.
Our modules are available in several formats including PMC, PC-Card (PCMCIA, Type II), PCI/ PCI-X, cPCI (3U/ 6U), VME and VXI formats. Our hardware design includes the flexibility and growth potential for our clients to maximize their investment over extended life cycle of any AIM product. AIM offers versions with extended temperature range, conduction cooling with rear I/O. Conformal coating can be provided for embedded and military applications.
AIM’s modules are based on an innovative and unique, field proven
‘Common Core’
hardware design, introduced to the market in 1998. This concept proved so successful, we further developed this design and launched the
‘New Common Core’
in 2005. The ‘NCC’ design incorporates even more performance and higher channel density whilst still maintaining fully functionality with the first generation
‘Common Core’
designs.
AIM’s Generic Carrier Card solutions allow any combination of AIM designed PMC (PCI Mezzanine Card) card, or third party PMC cards to be installed on our PCI, cPCI and VME carriers for a true modular solution.
For fast and effective product integration, our modules are supplied with a Board Support Package (BSP) containing the on board driver software, a full Application Programming Interface (API) and detailed getting started and programming guides.
Powerful Databus Analyser, Visualiser and Analysis software is available for all AIM’s modules supporting multiple databus/ network streams with real time simulation, monitoring, playback and analysis capabilities.
Our latest generation PBA.pro™ Databus Analyzer & Analysis Software employs a revolutionary scalable, integrated and modular approach covering applications from a stand alone databus analyzer to a complete systems test bench or advanced simulation/ integration facility.
