More than just a MIL-STD-1553 Ethernet Interface
The AIM ANET family is the most flexible and open Ethernet based product concept on the market for avionics data bus testing and simulation interfaces.
The Application Support Processor (ASP) implementation on a System-on-Chip (SoC) device allows the execution of a LINUX operating system right in-the box.
The SoC architecture essentially offers Standard Ethernet for the connection to a host PC in addition to a USB-interface capability on-chip e.g. for direct usage of USB devices attached to the ANET e.g. data storage for bus recording and/or configuration of ANET standalone applications.
- Customer specific scripts or applications or even future AIM product options like gateways/converters are possible due to working on an open LINUX environment onboard the ANET
- Support for onboard Python scripting is supported for all AIM ANET modules
- Support of onboard customer applications on the ASP written in C/C++ requires the optional ANET-ADK software development kit, available for the mixed protocol ANET-MxAy-(R) and the ANET3910 platform
- Needless to say the ANET family is software API compatible with other AIM Avioncs interfaces
