Leading the way to meet the future challenges of testing, simulating and integrating avionics equipments & platforms installing Gigabit AFDX (Avionics Full Duplex Switched Ethernet)/ Ethernet based networks protocols, AIM have introduced a revolutionary four Port AFDX/ Ethernet to PCI (-X) card. The new APX-GNET card is supplied with either optical IEEE Std 802.3 1000 Base-SX (Optical) or 1000 Base-T (Electrical) SFP's and can be configured as 4 single or two dual redundant ports.
