AIM GmbH in co-operation with Verified Systems International GmbH have developed a powerful integration platform for AFDX communication Test, Analysis & Simulation on the Airbus, A380 project. RT-Tester integrates AIM’s API-FDX-2 two port AFDX to PCIbus module providing monitoring of AFDX communication behavior with a sub micro second precision. Data simulations & transmission profiles are triggered or replayed with the same precision. Fault injection for testing aircraft controllers plus checks for AFDX communication robustness are featured. Hardware-in-the-loop capabilites are also implemented within the RT Tester.
